Striking out on her own with two-year-old twins, Stephanie was determined to create meaning in her life by working on the issues she is passionate about: climate change, environmental issues and community energy. 

It was deeply challenging to forge her own path, but she continues to do so, overcoming every obstacle. In 2018 she was awarded an OBE for her work.
